Juniors

Juniors are sponsored by local Community chapters through the state and serve children aged 5-14. Parental participation in the Junior program and honorary membership is open to parents and members age 14 and over. Volunteer adult leaders assist and guide each Junior program.

Junior program members have the opportunity to development new talents through a number of programs and projects. An ever-changing Merit Badge program offers recognition in a number of special areas of interest. Service to the local community is emphasized, as is environmental awareness. Study of the world and nation is promoted. Members also have the opportunity to participate in contests for arts, crafts, public speaking, creative writing, photography and much more.

The Junior program helps to develop a spirit of cooperation and concern for others in its members. The Junior program is a gateway for developing leadership skills.
