Lecturer

The Lecturer’s Program is one of the centerpieces of the California Guild.

As the hub of the community, the hall serves the educational needs of its members with talks and workshops on a variety of topics ranging from history to skills in agriculture and home arts.  Reaching out to the community, the California Guild hosts voter’s forums, talks on topics of relevance to the community members, and other programs like yoga, gardening and farmer’s markets that bring the community into the hall.  Community potluck dinners, pancake breakfasts, picnics, local parades, motorcycle runs, bunko nights, dinner Mystery Theater, variety shows, plays, musical concerts, dances and a host of other events make the California Guild a vital part of the community.

By providing educational and social programs, the hall becomes vital to the community, a hub, where people come together to have fun in work and play.
